Now that Grace has a county-certified commercial kitchen, anyone volunteering in the Grace kitchen is encouraged to secure a food handler’s card. To get the card, you must first complete a food service worker training program (this takes less than an hour), followed by a simple test ~ all of which can be done online. Cards are good for three years. The Outreach Team will gladly to cover the $8 fee for anyone who wants to take the test.
