At Grace, we are called by God to be in the city for good! Our calling during the summer months is to provide a cool place for those seeking refuge from the heat, as well as a safe space for building community through the sharing of meals, water, activities, community resources and ourselves. To that end, Grace hosts a heat relief station June 10th-August 30th, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information about Grace's Heat Respite program, visit our website , view a PDF, or contact Clottee Hammons at outreach@graceinthecity.com.
For those interested in volunteering this summer, we invite you to attend the orientation held in the North Room of Hope Hall on June 9th from 11:30a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Please RSVP at outreach@graceinthecity.com or call Clottee Hammons at 602-817-8996 if you plan to attend.
You are welcome to serve in any capacity, large or small, every day or one time only ~ please know every little bit helps! Volunteering is not contingent upon attending the orientation, but it is highly recommended.
