Global Missions Survey
We will be doing a study in the fall on Global Missions. As this is such a broad topic we wanted to make sure that we tailor the study to aspects of Global Missions that members are interested in.

Help for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Duet can help pay to send the grandchild you are raising to activities such as a local day camp or classes. This will give you time for yourself while enriching them. Guardianship clinics, support groups, and classes are also available throughout the Valley, along with fun "grand family" activities. Learn more at 602-274-5022 or visit www.duetaz.org.
Summer Heat Respite Volunteers needed
Volunteers are needed in the areas of safety, food prep and service, greeting our guests, cleaning, special projects, and helping with movies and entertainment.
We also need pre-packaged snacks, meal sponsors (pay for or provide a meal for 200—maybe your company can sponsor a group or you are part of a group that can help), water, and DVD movies (clearly labeled so they can be returned to you after respite).

Prayer Group
Prayer group will resume on Monday August 4 at 7 pm in the North Room. The schedule for August will be members whose last name begins with:

- N and O - 8/11
- P and Q - 8/18
- R - 8/25
- S - 9/1

Fostered Style
Jamie Ramirez, Bonnie Betz and Fostered Style are asking the congregation to write 200 notes of encouragement to foster children in Arizona and Michigan by August 3. Please don't address with names as we don't know who they are going to. Signing your first name is acceptable, but please refrain from adding your last name. Once letters are finished, please place them in the basket in the Narthex along with any "in kind" and monetary donations. Help us Foster Style and foster hope in foster kids!

One Joint Worship Service on Sunday, August 31
June 29 is a fifth Sunday of the month, so we will worship at ONE joint service in Hope Hall at 9:30 am! Fellowship to follow at 10:45 am.
Individual prayer for healing will be offered in lieu of Holy Communion.

We were delighted to hear the Ugandan Orphans Choir perform at both services.
