Property Update from Roger Ark
Due to a request at our last special congregational meeting, we will be updating all members of Grace on status of the property improvements.
We would like to thank everyone for their support on helping us to make Grace a more visually and inviting worship center. We can all do this by volunteering when the time comes for work groups to help do items around the church or just show up for moral support. Right now, it is really too hot for any of us to be out in the sun doing work, so we will not be doing any work groups until the weather gets cooler. However, be on the lookout for announcements.

As for what is being planned or has been done a summary is below:
Standard maintenance was done on the following by Lester:
1. Replaced a pipe under the sink in the Choir Room
2. Performed maintenance on the air conditioning units by cleaning coils and changing filters
3. Contacted electrician to check air conditioning unit in the basement
4. Organizing the trimming of the palm trees – Getting bids to do this work
Attached is a list of larger items we are doing at the church:
1. Replace roof on church – Waiting to hear back from insurance company
2. Add wrought iron "burglar bars" at two low windows on north side at Pastor Sarah’s office – We will do this ourselves as a work group when weather is cooler next month.
3. Remove all wrought iron railing in courtyard - We will do this ourselves as a work group when weather is cooler next month
4. Remove wrought iron "burglar bars on windows in courtyard and relocate - We will do this ourselves as a work group when weather is cooler next month
5. Replace sanctuary front window; Total of 6 – Have contacted serval companies and getting quotes
6. Replace exterior "bell loft tower" Door – Reaching out for quotes.

Pressure wash entire church
Repair plaster on church. Areas where it is peeling off
Repaint church
Paint existing down pipe in courtyard which is attached to north wall of church
Remove rust from any existing steps and paint
Two elevated windows on the north side facing Moreland need acrylic protection
Replace pony wall off back kitchen patio with wrought iron enclosure with gates
Update acrylic portion only of marque signage at front lawn. Existing is yellowing and old
Remove palm tree at Hope Hall
Lighting should be consistent at exterior of church and walkways
Create inviting courtyard such as string lights, replace grass with artificial turf and trees
Designated space for memorial plaques on church grounds
Mount guiding principles in courtyard or above the arches
Existing large tree in courtyard should be trimmed and thinned out of dead debris
Update and remove any outdated signage so unified and relevant
Repair or replace handrails at exterior steps going to choir loft
Add up light to stained glass windows
Replace or repair "Handicap Access" door on north side of church
Refinish double doors near office facing Moreland
South parking lot needs a block dumpster enclosure to include a locking gate
Add bike racks to other campus areas
Replace metal overhang at office
Repair ceiling of courtyard walkway near Trunk Space
Replace grass along 3rd street with crushed gravel to help with water bills
Remove nonfunctioning concrete entry to church off 3rd Street
Install two shade trees at church entry to protect door in the future
