From time to time and usually not more than 3-6 times per year, Grace hosts funerals and memorial services for members and friends of Grace. In order to welcome and care for families, we are in need of at least a couple of key volunteers: a funeral usher and a hospitality coordinator. The funeral usher welcomes guests in a way very similar to Sunday morning ushering and greeting. The hospitality coordinator works with the family to provide a meal following the funeral/service. We do have simple ministry descriptions for these ministries available with more detail. Please be in touch with Adrienne or Pastor Sarah if you are interested in learning more about these ministries. Because funerals and memorial services are often scheduled without much notice, we would value having more than one person ready to assist when necessary.
