Dear Friend in Ministry,
Your role in the story of Grace Lutheran Church is an important and special one. By joining together with other members and friends of Grace, our congregation continues to share the Gospel here in Phoenix and across the world.
In the last year, we discovered new ways to worship. We became involved in new ways to love our neighbor, as well as nurtured the long-standing ministries of Grace Lutheran Church. Now as we return to more in-person gatherings, those new threads are woven into the tapestry and story of our small church which reaches such a variety of people.
At Grace, the words of Luke 6:38 come alive: “Give, and it will be given to you.” We bring to Grace our humble gifts, where they are pressed down, shaken together, and run over. That gift is magically transformed and placed back into our laps, “for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.”
As you consider your gift for the coming year, you are encouraged to consider how it is you can grow in your generosity. Perhaps an additional $1 per day would work for you, or perhaps you could consider making one additional gift this year to your normal weekly or monthly contributions. As we begin this generosity journey together, please pray about how you can grow in generosity this year.
