A Joyous Easter to you, people of Grace!
As we all know, this Easter Season simply looks different and feels different. The celebration and traditions we have looked forward to throughout Lent are overshadowed by the uncertainty, confusion, suffering and fear brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the midst of it all, it is helpful to remember that Jesus offers a word of comfort: FEAR NOT.
With this as inspiration, a group of ELCA pastors and church leaders from Minneapolis and Saint Paul have produced a series of daily devotions written to help people of faith navigate these uncertain times. Each week, we’ll focus on a story where Jesus told his followers to FEAR NOT, sharing uplifting messages, images, songs, and practical suggestions on how everyday people of faith can navigate the fears of the day. And help others do the same.
This group has graciously shared this resource with us. You are invited to sign up, and starting on Easter Sunday, April 12, you will receive your first devotion. Every morning for the seven weeks of the Easter Season, a daily dose of FEAR NOT will appear in your email inbox.
