During January and February, Wilbur the Pig is receiving donations for ELCA World Hunger and pop-top soup cans for the Mount of Olives Food Closet. You may designate a gift to Wilbur in the same ways you currently give, and you may bring your pop-top soup cans to in-person worship or to the church during office hours (M, T, W, Fr, 9:00 am-12:00 pm). Just call Adrienne in the church office (602-258-3787) when you arrive.
The ideal pop-top soup donations are Campbell’s and Progresso as these brands are the most nourishing and substantial. Across the country during January and February, businesses and non-profits will be raising money and sharing in-kind food donations in honor of SouperBowl Sunday to help end hunger in the US. With the pandemic, the need is especially urgent this year. Thank you for your generosity!
