On Transfiguration Sunday (February 23), we will transfigure our worship by flipping the worship order front to back, back to front. On Transfiguration Sunday, we read the sacred story of Jesus and three of his disciples hiking up a mountain where Jesus is transfigured before them. His transfiguration causes them to see Jesus in a new light: one of glory. Similarly, on this one Sunday of the church year, we hope that this liturgical flip will help us see God and our communal spiritual practice of worship in a new and refreshing way!
